A+true+hidden+gem+of+a+camp%2e++It+was+criminal+when+the+summer+program+at+this+camp+was+shut+down+after+a+merger+of+3+Councils%2e++Back+in+the+1970%27s%2c+Wildcat+Hollow+was+arguably+one+of+the+best+patrol%2dcooking+camps+in+the+country%2e++Today%2c+the+camp+is+used+for+weekend+troop+camping%2c+Cub+Day+Camps%2c+Woodbadge+training+courses%2c+etc%2e++The+camp+features+a+big%2c+beautiful+clear+lake+for+fishing%2fcanoeing+and+has+a+pool+for+swimming+during+the+summer+months%2e+The+camp+is+located+near+Russellville%2c+Kentucky+and+is+owned%2foperated+by+the+Shawnee+Trails+Council%2e++If+a+troop+wanted+to+conduct+their+own+private+summer+camp%2c+Wildcat+Hollow+would+be+a+great+place+to+do+it+since+the+facilities+are+wonderful+and+camp+usage+is+light%2e%0d%0a

I+wasn%27t+aware+that+the+camp+had+all+but+closed%2e+That+is+a+real+shame%2e+I+attended+the+camp+from+1969%2d1972%2e+It+was+just+a+great+place+to+grow+up%2e+I+remember+when+the+lake+was+there+but+had+no+water%2e+I+was+a+member+of+troop+94+from+Bowling+Green+and+one+of+the+first+to+ever+use+the+camp%2e+I+still+have+the+neckerchiefs+for+each+year+from+there%2e+They+have+a+complete+layout+map+of+the+camp+ground+on+them%2e%0d%0a
