The+San+Diego+Youth+Aquatic+Center+officially+opened+its+doors+in+1992+to+all+youth+organizations+and+is+Desert+Pacific+Council%27s+newest+facility%2e+The+Youth+Aquatic+Center+offers+one+of+the+nations+finest+aquatic+and+outdoor+programs+to+youth+in+the+Southwestern+region+of+the+United+States%2e++Located+on+Fiesta+Island+in+the+heart+of+beautiful+Mission+Bay+Park%2c+adjacent+to+the+newly+renovated%2c+city+operated+Youth+Campgrounds%2c+the+Youth+Aquatic+Center+is+the+home+of+%22Camp+Fiesta+Island%22+Scout+Camp%2c+an+accredited+long+term+camp%2e++San+Diego%27s+hospitable+climate+makes+year+round+use+of+the+Aquatic+Center+for+large+or+small+events+and+activities+popular+with+youth+groups+and+their+activities%2e%0d%0a%0d%0a

My+Scouts+really+enjoyed+this+water+related+camp%2c+learned+to+surf+%28extra+cost%29+and+the+food+was+incredible+%28catering+service+provided%29+but+beware+they+participate+in+a+lottery+for+use+of+the+campsites+and+you+week+can+get+cancelled+and+leave+you+scrambling+for+a+replacement+week+elsewhere+as+happened+to+us+this+year+%282006%29%2e%0d%0a

Fiesta+Island+is+one+of+the+best+camps+I+have+been+to%2e+The+staff+and+the+food+were+amazing+plus+it+is+only+a+few+minutes+from+San+Diego+making+it+easily+accessible%2e+The+aquatic+programs+were+great+and+we+had+a+lot+of+fun%2e+The+only+downsides+to+this+camp+is+that+there+are+no+shooting+or+horsemanship+programs+and+the+trading+post+is+very+small+yet+had+a+twenty+minute+line%2e+4%2f5+stars%2e%0d%0a%0d%0a
