Lassen+is+located+forty%2dfive+minutes+east+of+Chico+off+Highway+32+near+Butte+Meadows%2c+California%2e+At+an+elevation+of+4800%27+amidst+beautiful+evergreen+trees%2c+Camp+Lassen+offers+both+Cub+Scouts+and+Boy+Scouts+a+traditional+scouting+program+The+Cub+Scouts+experience+a+theme%2doriented+program+during+their+stay%2e+Boy+Scouts+not+only+earn+merit+badges%2c+but+have+the+opportunity+to+face+an+outstanding+C%2eO%2eP%2eE%2e+course%3b+one+of+the+BEST+IN+THE+WEST%2e+Horseback+riding%2c+mountain+bikes%2c+and+the+fantastic+and+unique+Lassen+to+Lassen+High+Adventure+Backpacking+Trek+are+available+for+the+older+scouts%2e+A+large+dining+hall%2c+cabins%2c+wall+tents%2c+or+adirondacks+round+out+your+Camp+Lassen+incredible+stay%2e%0d%0a%0d%0a
We+went+to+Camp+Lassen+in+2008%2e++It+was+our+troops+first+experience+with+the+camp%2c+and+it+was+outstanding%2e++The+staff+was+knowledgable%2c+helpful+and+kind%2e++The+camp+has+an+outstanding+COPE+course%2c+great+mess+hall+and+some+unique+merit+badge+opportunities+%28like+metal+working%29%2e++All+of+the+campsites+were+well+shaded+by+trees+and+the+adirondacks+were+fun%2e++My+only+negative+comment+would+be+the+lake%2e++The+camp+probably+has+little+control+over+the+size+of+it%2c+but+it+is+rather+small%2c+even+by+boy+scout+camp+standards%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aI+would+recommend+this+camp+to+everyone%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aKen%0d%0a
