Our+Troop+attended+Tahquitz+this+year+%28July%2c+2003%29+and+had+a+great+time%2e+Each+boy+was+able+to+earn+5+merit+badges%2c+but+be+sure+that+this+camp+does+not+just+hand+out+MB%27s+%2d+no+mill+here%21+Your+boys+will+earn+them%2e+Camp+is+1+square+mile%2c+and+facilities+are+pretty+spread+out%2c+but+it+will+help+you+get+your+exercise%2e+Elevation+of+6500+ft%2e+isn%27t+too+bad%2c+but+if+you+are+out+of+shape+you%27ll+be+winded+for+the+first+several+days%2e+Camp+has+a+large+pool+%28nice+%26+clean%29%2c+a+45%27+climbing+tower%2c+a+COPE+course%2c+a+small+%28reed+filled+%26+shallow%29+lake%2c+a+rifle+%26+archery+range%2c+and+jamboree+or+central+feed+options%2e+The+fee+per+boys+is+still+reasonable+%28%24175+per+boy+w%2f+central+feeding%2c+or+%24155+per+boy+w%2f+Jamboree+feeding%29+and+the+program+is+well+worth+that%2e+Nice+mixed%2dconifer+forest+provides+ample+shade%2e+Campfires+were+nice%2c+especially+the+Native+American+themed+one%2e+Check+it+out+%26+enjoy+for+yourselves%21+www%2ecamptahquitz%2ecom%0d%0a

My+scout+was+disappointed+that+he+was+only+able+to+earn+the+three+badges+he+had+preregistered+to+earn%2e+He+originally+requested+5+MB+classes+but+was+only+allowed+to+register+for+3%2e++Also%2c+he+was+unable+to+benefit+from+the+Rank+Advancement+program+because+he+wasn%27t+pre%2dregistered+for+this+program%2e++Four+days+of+rain+and+limited+progress+because+of+camp+restrictions%2e++Not+a+thrilling+camp+experience%2e++%0d%0a
