Camping+is+normally+prohibited+in+MN+wildlife+management+areas%2c+but+scouts+can+often+get+special+permission+to+camp+in+these+areas%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aOur+troop+camped+in+an+old%2c+overgrown+gravel+pit+and+had+a+great+time%2e++It+was+a+very+large%2c+open+area%2c+with+several+giant+mounds+near+the+center%2e++The+patrol+sites+were+separated+from+each+other%2c+but+not+too+far%2e++%0d%0a%0d%0aThe+scouts+enjoyed+hiking+along+the+river+and+exploring+the+area%2e++One+note%2d%2dit+is+about+1%2f2+mile+from+the+gravel+pit+to+the+parking+lot%2c+and+drinking+water+must+be+carried+this+distance%2e%0d%0a
