Great+facilities%2e++Dining+hall+and+leaders+facility+is+air+conditioned%2c+a+great+feature%2e++Dining+hall+meals+are+cafeteria+style+and+there+were+no+songs+or+skits+after+meals%2e++Would+prefer+family+style+meals+and+a+program+after+the+eating%2e++Helps+build+Scout+spirit%2e%0d%0aOtherwise%2c+a+super+facility%21%0d%0a

I+work+here+and+it%27s+great+place+to+be%2e+Scouts+love+it%2c+I+mean+we+had+scouts+from+Ireland+come%2e+It%27s+a+great+fun+area+and+staff+cares%2e+%0d%0a

camp+friedlander+is+great+it+helped+me+become+eagle+and+never+let+me+down%2e%0d%0a

I+went+here+for+summer+camp+this+year+and+it+was+great+i+had+a+lot+of+fun%21%21+%0d%0a

Just+returned+from+Friedlander+last+week+with+my+troop%2e++Can+not+say+good+enough+about+this+place%21++Friedlander+makes+my+local+camp+look+like+a+dump%2e++Would+recommend+it+to+anyone%2c+if+not+for+the+2+1%2f2+drive+would+go+there+every+year%21%0d%0a

Our+Troop+just+returned+from+Camp+Friedlander%2e+Needless+to+say+it+was+a+great+experience%2e+The+staff+were+great+and+the+Dining+hall+was+outstanding%2e+Each+year%2c+our+Troop+goes+online+and+picks+a+Camp%2e+We+chose+Friedlander+and+we+got+our+moneys+worth+and+more%2e+There+was+one+area+that+I+thought+could+be+improved%2e+The+waterfront%2e+Weeds+needed+to+be+cut+and+rocks+replaced+with+sand+and+spruced+up+a+bit%2e+Other+than+that+area%2c+really+good+looking+Camp%2e+A+lot+of+Troops+go+each+year+to+this+Camp%2e+Nuff+said%21%0d%0a

Camp+Friedlander+is+fantastic%2c+when+ever+someone+yells+enthusiasm%2c+the+staff+cheer+%22ENTHUSIASM%21%21%21%21%0d%0aH%2dA%2dP%2dP%2dY+WE+LOVE+THIS+CAMP%21%22+The+staff+is+awesome%2c+my+troop+just+returned+and+week+5+has+ended%2c+and+they+still+are+full+of+enthusiasm%2e+The+OA+is+also+well+represented%2e%0d%0a

I+went+to+camp+at+Friedlander+in+1943+and+1944+during+WW2%2e+Paid+my+way+by+gathering+scrap+metal%2c+etc%2e%2c+for+the+war+effort%2e+Still+have+many+happy+memories+of+the+place%2e%0d%0a

First+year+summer+camp+program+%28Trailblazer%29+is+very+good%2e+There+is+a+great+deal+of+variety+in+the+programs%2e+The+site+includes+shower+houses%2c+A%2fC+in+the+dining+hall%2c+adult+leader+training+area+that+has+A%2fC%2c+swimming+pool%2c+a+lake+for+boating+and+swimming+and+more%2e+Most+of+the+staff+is+truly+dedicated+to+the+program+and+the+mission+of+scouting%2e%0d%0a

Cub+World%0d%0a%0d%0aThis+facility+is+part+of+the+Dan+Beard+Scout+Reservation+near+Cincinnati%2c+OH%2e+The+camp+provides+a+unique+camping+experience+for+Cub+Scouts+during+the+summer+months%2c+and+may+be+used+by+any+age+scouts+throughout+the+winter+months%2e+%0d%0a%0d%0aThis+camp+was+the+first+of+it%27s+kind+in+Ohio%2e+Campers+may+spend+the+night+in+a+Western+Fort+or+a+Medieval+Castle%2e+For+older+or+more+adventurous+scouts+the+camp+provides+a+Mountain+Man+Village+or+Miners+Camp%2e+The+Mountain+Man+Village+includes+platforms+in+the+trees%2c+and+the+miners+camp+has+a+mine+that+campers+may+%22pan+for+gold%2e%22+%0d%0a%0d%0aThe+castle+and+fort+have+sleeping+rooms+includes+2+enclosed+classrooms%2e+In+addition+to+these+facilities+are+4+double%2dsided+heated+cabins+that+sleep+4+campers+per+side%2e+One+double+sided+cabin+also+sleeping+4+each+side+is+both+heated%2c+and+air+conditioned+and+includes+a+private+bath+for+each+side+of+the+cabin%2e+An+open+air+pavilion+with+a+small+attached+closed+in+kitchen%2c+large+amphitheater%2c+four+shooting+ranges%2c+and+a+small+building+with+both+heating+and+air%2dconditioning+serves+as+a+great+meeting+facility%2e+%0d%0a%0d%0aThe+camp+sits+on+the+edge+of+the+little+Miami+River%2c+making+it+a+great+take+off+or+landing+point+for+a+Little+Miami+Canoe+trip%21+%0d%0a
