My+troop+went+there+in+2006+and+it+IS+the+best+camp+in+CA%21++The+staff+is+like+no+other+and+the+food+first+class%2e++I+cannot+put+in+words+how+much+my+boys+loved+this+camp+except+that+we+have+a+reservation+again+for+the+soonest+we+could+get+back+in+and+plan+to+make+it+our+main+camp%2e++My+troop+is+based+near+Stockton%2cbut+we+would+walk+to+this+camp+to+go+again%2e%0d%0a

When+my+Troop+went+to+Cherry+Valley+I+was+our+SPL+and+as+a+Leader+this+camp+was+simply+Amazing%2e+Daily+competitions+with+other+troops+via+inspection%2c+all+those+lovely+beads%2c+a+great+program+and+What+truly+inspired+me+was+the+Lore+and+personal+connection+our+Troop%27s+adviser+made+with+me%2e+I+won%27t+ruin+it%2c+but+it+was+simply+amazing%2e%0d%0a

My+Troop%2c+380%2c+from+Sacramento%2c+CA+went+to+Cherry+Valley+in+the+summer+of+2009%2e+It+ofered+many+ocean%2fwater+merit+badges+and+activities%2e+Halfway+through+the+week+all+of+the+merit+badges+close+down+and+your+troop+chooses+an+%22adventure%22+to+some+other+part+of+island%2e+Plus+you+leave+from+the+port+of+LA+so+it+is+really+close+to+LA+and+the+theme+parks%2e+%0d%0a

+An+old+timer+here%2e+Went+to+CCV+back+in+1966+and+it+my+best+Scouting+experience%21Loved+the+war+canoes%2e+Evening+formation+for+%22To+the+Colors%22%2e+Flashlight+Wars+and+Capture+the+Flag%2e+On+our+Silver+Peak+trek+most+of+us+quit+early+and+went+to+the+isthmus+instead%2e+En+route+one+guy+fell+off+the+path+and+rolled+down+the+hillside+through+all+that+cactus%2e+Ouch%21+Flaming+Arrow+Patrol%2c+Troop+99%2c+Altadena%2c+San+Gabriel+Council+%0d%0a

Camp+Cherry+Valley+is+the+best+camp%21+It+offers+so+much%2c+and+the+staff+is+very+unique%2e+I+will+never+forget+the+experience+I+had+this+summer%2eI+will+defiantly+be+going+back%2e++%0d%0a
