Units+shouldn%27t+overlook+Camp+T+for+a+great+camping+weekend%2e+As+our+original+Summer+Camp%2c+Camp+T+provided+a+great+setting+for+thousands+of+Scouts+until+Mt%2e+Bayou+was+found%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aCamp+T+is+still+alive+and+well%2e+The+dinning+hall+and+pool+are+long+gone%2c+but+the+50%2b+acres+are+still+some+fine+camping%2e+The+lake+%2f+pond+is+still+there+and+offers+some+fine+fishing%2e+It+wasn%27t+that+many+years+ago+that+the+pond+was+partially+drained%2c+cleared+of+the+trash+fish+and+restocked%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aPlenty+of+room+for+privacy%2c+close+access+to+the+campsites%2c+plenty+of+trees+and+open+spaces+make+Camp+T+a+great+choice+for+any+type+of+camper%2e+Some+camp+sites+even+have+Bar%2dB%2dQue+pits%2e+Water+is+an+iffy+thing+so+be+sure+and+ask+if+the+pump+is+working%2e+Even+if+you+have+to+tote+your+own+water%2c+Thistlethwaite+is+a+great+camp%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aAvailable+upon+request+for+special+events+is+the+Schad+Pavilion+which+offers+a+fire+place%2c+table%2c+stove%2c+refrigerator+and+rest+rooms%2e+The+old+dinning+hall+roof+remains+and+offers+a+place+to+get+out+of+the+weather%2e+%0d%0a%0d%0a
