The+1142+acre+Ouachita+Valley+Council+Scout+Reservation+is+located+in+Union+Parish%2c+near+Downsville%2c+Louisiana%2e+The+Reservation+is+divided+into+three+main+areas%3a%0d%0a%2e%2e%2e%2e%2e%95+Camp+T%2e+L%2e+James%2c+Summer+Camp%0d%0a%2e%2e%2e%2e%2e%95+Northwest+Field+%2fCub+World%0d%0a%2e%2e%2e%2e%2e%95+Wood+Badge+Field+%2fJLT+Training+%0d%0aThese+areas+share+many+facilities+by+design%2c+but+they+are+distinctively+different+in+program+use%2e+%0d%0a%0d%0aThe+camp+was+named+after+our+first+Council+President%2c+Mr%2e+T%2e+L%2e+James%2e+%0d%0a%0d%0aFacilities+at+the+Reservation+include+a+central+dining+hall+with+a+capacity+of+200%2c+central+hot+showers%2c+ten+individual+campsites%2c+a+lake+for+boating+and+swimming%2c+two+ponds+for+fishing%2c+a+health+lodge+and+administrative+building%2c+and+the+Downsville+Mule+Trading+Company+Store%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aThe+reservation%2c+with+its+long%2dterm+camp%2c+T%2e+L%2e+James%2c+is+located+in+the+Northeast+Louisiana%2e+It+has+both+hardwood+and+pine+woodlands%2e+Wildlife+abounds+with+populations+of+deer%2c+squirrel%2c+beaver%2c+turkey%2c+and+many+species+of+birds+including+hawks+and+owls%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aAlthough+facilities+are+modern+and+up%2dto%2ddate%2c+the+natural+beauty+of+the+reservation+has+been+maintained+by+careful+planning%2e%0d%0a%0d%0a%0d%0a%0d%0a

Super+Camp%2c+Great+staff%2c+beautiful+lake%2c+I+loved+the+programs%2e+I+can%27t+wait+for+my+next+chance+to+go%2e+%0d%0a

Outstanding+camp+staff%2c+some+of+the+best+I+have+ever+encountered+throughout+my+25+year+scouting+experience%2e++Word+has+it+the+2006+summer+program+is+going+to+be+even+better%2e%0d%0a

Attended+Summer+Camp+2007%2e+Boys+loved+the+staff+however+were+not+to+thrilled+at+how+spread+out+the+merit+badge+classes+were%2e++Although+summer+came+early+this+year+and+the+heat+index+was+105%2c+the+boys+still+managed+to+enjoy+them+selves+and+will+not+stop+talking+about+the+BLOB%21%21+and+the+Zip+Line+%21%21++They+were+not+thrilled+about+the+tents+that+were+provided+and+would+recommend+bringing+your+own%2e++%0d%0a

This+camp+is+one+of+the+Most+elegant+camps+I+have+ever+been+to%2e+The+staff+is+magnificent+and+I+have+no+complaints+at+all%2e+Every+morning+the+staff+greets+you+with+a+morning+smile+that+can+easily+brighten+anybody%27s+day%2e%0d%0a
