Camp+Tapico%2c+which+is+located+off+of+M%2d72+between+Grayling+and+Kalkaska%2c+Michigan%2c+is+comprised+of+over+1200+acres+of+woodlands%2e+It+has+the+beautiful+120+acre+Grass+Lake+right+in+the+middle+of+camp%2e+%0d%0a

Camp+Tapico+is+a+great+place+to+work+as+well+as+camp%2e++The+nature+is+phenomenal+and+the+area+is+a+wonderful+part+of+the+state%2e++I+definitely+recommend+Camp+Tapico+to+any+council+or+troop%2e++%0d%0a

Camp+Tapico+promotes+the+patrol+method+of+camping%3a++Troops+cook+all+their+own+meals%21%21++Scouts+ride+their+bikes+from+the+campsites+to+merit+badge+classes+and+camp+activities%2e++It%27s+the+best+camp+I+have+ever+been+a+part+of%2e%0d%0a

Camp+Tapico+has+been+an+inspiration+for+many+people%2c+and+nearly+every+person+who+spends+more+than+5+minutes+on+camp+falls+in+love+and+never+wants+to+leave%2e++The+staff+is+phenomenal%2c+each+one+works+as+hard+as+possible+for+each+and+every+scout%2e++I+recommend+it+for+every+troop%2e%0d%0a

Attended+in+2009+%2d+great+week+of+camping%2e++As+a+scouter%2c+it+was+neat+to+see+the+troop%27s+patrols+working+together+on+meal+preparation%2c+cooking+and+clean+up%2e++They+got+organized+and+fast+at+the+tasks%2e++This+will+help+our+monthly+troop+outings%21++The+merit+badge+staff+were+knowledgeable+and+talking+to+them+between+sessions+was+great%2e%0d%0a

I+believe+this+camp+has+been+closed+as+of+August+2016%2e+Troop+130+thought+about+doing+a+camping+trip+there+to+show+younger%2c+newer+boys+to+the+Troop+how+great+it+was%2c+but+was+informed+it+was+closing%2e%0d%0a
