I+went+with+my+troop+to+Camp+Hood+in+2006%2e+We+found+very+large+holes+and+found+black+widow+apiders+in+the+tents%2e+We+were+told+it+was+part+of+the+%22outdoor+experience%22%2e+Food+quality+was+not+very+good+either%2e+Some+of+the+staff+was+not+very+good+and+they+threatened+to+close+the+heated+showers+and+the+flush+toilets+on+Monday%2e+Our+troop+will+not+return+to+this+camp+in+the+near+future%2e%0d%0a

Much+work+has+gone+into+improving+both+the+facilities+and+the+programs+at+camp+Hood%2e+The+boys+in+our+troop+enjoyed+the+winter+and+summer+camps+last+year%3b+saying+that+the+staff+was+better+than+the+other+camps+they+had+attended%2e+We+will+return+this+year+for+both+summer+and+winter+camp%2e++Rumor+has+it+that+a+new+climbing+tour+and+C%2eO%2eP%2eE+program+is+in+the+works%2e%0d%0a

I+have+worked+camp+staff+for+a+few+years+now%2e+Our+new+facilities+include+a+new+climbing+tower+and+COPE+program%2c+and+a+new+ATV%2fmountain+biking%2f+mountain+boarding+program%2e+Redesigned+waterfront+and+new+showers%2e++We+are+still+working+to+improve+camp+but+it+has+come+a+long+way%2e+As+for+the+staff+we+have+been+nationally+accredited+for+nearly+10+years+and+staff+gets+better+every+year%2e%0d%0a
