This+camp+was+owned+and+operated+by+the+Cambridge+Council+%23229%2c+BSA%2e+The+current+status+of+this+camp+is+unknown+because+the+Cambridge+Council+is+now+part+of+the+Boston+Minuteman+Council+and+may+have+been+closed+and%2for+sold%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aCamp+Quinapoxet+celebrated+its+75th+season+in+2000%2e+The+camp+originally+was+located+on+Lake+Quinapoxet+in+1925+for+one+year%2e+The+next+two+years%2c+it+was+at+another+location+before+finally+settling+for+its+current+location+on+Hubbard+Pond+in+Rindge%2c+NH+in+1928%2e+This+camp+occupies+180+acres%2e+Offers+a+lake+%28more+than+50+acres%29+for+swimming%2c+boating+and+canoeing%2c+tent+camp+sites%2c+Adirondack+%28lean%2dto%29+shelters+and+winter+cabins+for+overnight+use+and+family+camping%2c+an+activity+field+for+athletics+and+camporess%2c+boats+and%2for+canoes+for+overnight+groups%2c+and+a+summer+camp+dining+hall%2e+They+also+offer+a+High+Adventure+program%2c+a+COPE+course+and+extended+Cub+Scout+camping%2e+The+summer+camp+only+runs+for+a+four+weeks+%282+Boy+Scout+residential%2c+1+High+Adventure%2c+1+Junior+Leader+Training+%28JLT%29%29%2c+but+does+so+at+a+considerable+savings%2e+The+cost+for+camp+during+the+1997+season+was+%24115+per+boy%2c+with+an+adult+at+no+cost+for+each+8+boys%2e%0d%0a%0d%0a%0d%0a%0d%0a
