The+biggest+news+about+Camp+Agawam+is+that+the+camp+is+going+to+open+as+a+summer+camp+for+the+2001+summer+camping+season%2e+Camp+Agawam+is+going+to+be+the+home+of+the+council%27s+Cub+Scout+camping+program%2e+The+camp+will+also+serve+as+the+primary+training+facility+for+the+varity+of+training+courses+offered+by+the+council+to+Scout+leaders%2c+parents%2c+and+Scouts%2e+%0d%0a%0d%0aCurrently%2c+Camp+Agawam+makes+a+great+place+for+a+weekend+outing%2e+There+are+several+buildings+at+the+camp+that+are+available+for+rental%2c+as+well+plenty+of+room+for+tent+camping%2e+The+camp%27s+natural+beauty+makes+it+an+ideal+location+for+about+any+activity%2e+%0d%0a%0d%0aThere+are+plenty+of+opportunities+for+service+at+Camp+Agawam%2e+The+council+is+hard+at+work+getting+the+camp+ready+for+the+2001+camping+season%2e+Before+the+camp+is+ready+for+a+%22wild+west+adventure%22+as+part+of+the+summer+Cub+Scout+camp+program%2c+your+help+is+needed%2e+Please+contact+the+council+for+more+information%2e+%0d%0a
Camp+Agawam+was+my+camp+as+a+Scout%2c+back+in+the+60%27s%2e+I+am+glad+that+it+will+be+used+as+a+summer+camp+again%2e+I+had+stopped+by+one+time+during+the+summer%2c+a+few+years+back%2c+with+an+old+scout+friend+of+mine%2e+The+camp+had+changed+a+lot%2e+The+old+camporee+field+had+a+castle+on+it%2e+I+hope+to+stop+by+again+in+the+next+couple+of+years%2e%0d%0a
