Located+south+west+of+Bismarck+on+Lake+Tschida%2c+Heart+Butte+Scout+Reservation+is+a+great+place+to+spend+a+weekend+or+as+an+overnight+camping+spot+on+your+way+west+to+a+high+adventure%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aTwo+large+campsites+with+shelters+are+always+reserved+for+Scout+use%2e+Outdoor+latrines+and+picnic+shelters+are+both+located+in+these+campsites%2e+A+lodge+building%2c+campfire+ceremony+area%2c+OA+site+and+chapel+area+are+all+available%2e+The+main+lodge+includes+two+fireplaces%2c+a+kitchen+with+six%2dburner+stove%2c+oven+sinks%2c+shower+and+a+flush+toilet%2e+The+water+is+potable+but+is+high+in+iron+content%2e+Good+fishing%2c+hiking%2c+canoeing+and+a+nearby+public+beach+all+make+this+a+great+location+for+a+Troop+outing%2e+%0d%0a

A+new+well+was+drilled+in+2002%2e++The+well+provides+plenty+of+water+to+the+lodge+and+each+campsite%2e++The+water+is+hard+and+not+everyone+likes+the+taste%2c+but+it+is+potable%2e++The+water+is+tested+each+year+by+the+local+health+district%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aThe+camp+is+a+great+place+to+spend+time+with+your+Scouts%2e++Several+Scouters+I+have+talked+to+were+surprised+at+the+peaceful+location+and+the+beauty+of+the+area%2e%0d%0a
