Since+1927%2c+Camp+Olmsted+has+provided+a+quality+summer+camp+experience+to+all+Scout%2dage+boys%2e+Camp+Olmsted+is+located+just+15+miles+north+of+Warren%2c+in+the+beautiful+scenic+mountains+of+the+Allegheny+National+Forest+in+Northwestern+Pennsylvania%2e+It+includes%3a+485+acres+of+natural+woodlands%2c+three+miles+of+waterfront+with+access+to+the+24%2dmile+long+Allegheny+Reservoir+lake+that+was+created+in+the+summer+of+1967%2e+The+lake+has+91+miles+of+shoreline%2c+primarily+unspoiled%2c+which+allows+for+limitless+water%2dskiing%2c+motor+boating+and+sailing+usage%2e+Although+the+camp+is+used+year+round%2c+the+principal+activity+centers+on+the+five+weeks+in+summer+with+organized+camping+for+Cub+Scouts%2c+Boy+Scouts%2c+and+Explorers%2e+A+trained+staff+of+25+youths+and+adults+make+this+experience+possible%2e+The+summer+experience+is+actually+the+culmination+of+Scouting+activities+throughout+the+year%2e+%0d%0a
