The+beautiful+multi%2duse+facility+combines+the+caretaker+residence%2c+training+and+program+center+and+a+camp+office+that+would+also+serve+as+a+district+office+for+the+Aztec+District+in+Laredo%2e++The+structure+includes+plenty+of+secure+storage+for+program+equipment%2e++We+someday+hope+to+add+a+modest+size+scout+shop+to+serve+the+Scouts+and+Scouters+of+Webb+County+and+surrounding+communities+%0d%0a%0d%0aWe+completed+the+construction+of+the+main+facility+on+the+property%2c+the+youth+center%2c+in+May+of+1997%2e++Also+completed+a+year+prior+was+the+first+permanent+program+shelter%2e+We+have+recently+completed+a+new+co%2ded+shower+and+bathroom+facility%2e++We+have+nearly+completed+the+development+of+five+additional+campsites%2e++Other+program+facilities+will+be+developed+as+quickly+as+capitol+funds+are+raised+for+these+projects%2e++%0d%0a%0d%0aIncludes+the+Lamar+Bruni%2dVergara+Youth+Center%0d%0a%0d%0a
It+has+been+many+years+since+I%27ve+been+to+Camp+Huisache%2c+my+son%27s+cub+pack+took+a+small+group+of+boys+for+a+Weekend+Adventure%2e++It+looked+new+and+clean+and+was+a+very+pleasant+experience%2e++The+staff+provided+an+interesting+weekend+by+inviting+a+Pack+from+Mexico+and+the+kids+%26+parents+enjoyed+comparing+notes%2e%0d%0aThe+campground+had+an+indoor+%5bwith+a%2fc%5d+mess+hall+and+the+campsites+we+visited+had+showers+%26+flushing+toilets+nearby%2e+Wouldn%27t+mind+having+a+a+Winter+Camp+there%2e++%0d%0a
