The Zaleski Backpack Trail is within the Zaleski State Forest and adjacent to Lake Hope State Park. Nice trail, probably the best in the state park system -- moderate difficulty. Both day trips and overnights are possible. Potable water is available at the designated camping areas on the trail but it is trucked in and on weekends it's likely to run out! Lake Hope State Park has a pretty lake -- no motors allowed so it's great for canoe and kayak, both of which can be rented. There's also a beach and the lake feels great after a long hike.
