Although+a+nice+%22RV%22+campground+with+2+pools%2c+playground%2c+and+weekend+entertainment+%2d+for+scouting+keep+in+mind+that+the+group+site+is+right+next+to+I%2d95+and+it+DOES+get+noisy+as+the+trucks+roll+by%2e+It+is+a+very+secure+campground+with+a+full+time+guard+at+the+gate+and+night+patrols%2e+Too+secure+because+they+make+you+register+and+PAY+full+price+for+anyone+coming+to+visit+%2d+even+if+only+for+an+hour%21+They+only+allow+1+car+per+campsite+%2d+others+stay+in+a+main+parking+lot%2e+Also+double+and+triple+check+reservations+%2d+they+lost+mine+twice+%2d+then+would+not+let+the+group+come+in+and+set+up+because+I+had+not+arrived+yet+to+pay+the+bill+%2d+even+though+I+made+it+clear+that+I+myself+would+be+arriving+later+than+the+rest+of+the+group%2e+They+are+somewhat+scout+friendly+since+they+offered+a+discount+%28%245%2e50+per+person+per+night%29+instead+of+%2430+per+family%2e+Though%2c+if+you+make+up+your+own+families+you+can+probably+save+money+paying+the+normal+rate%2e+Each+tent+site+has+electric%2c+water%2c+cable+tv%3f%2c+and+a+picnic+table+and+fire%2dring%2e+They+charge+extra+for+the+hookups%2c+but+they+did+not+turn+them+off+if+you+didn%27t+want+them%2e+All+and+all+%2d+I+would+NOT+return+to+Highland+Orchards+because+of+the+noise%2c+the+poor+reservations+handling%2c+and+the+%22who+cares%22+attitude+of+the+staff%2e+%28They+never+answered+my+complaint+email%2e%29+On+the+good+side%2c+it+is+only+a+few+miles+from+Mystic%2c+clean+well+kept+grounds+and+restrooms%2c+hot+showers%2c+and+the+amenities+you+would+expect+from+an+RV+park%2e+%0d%0a

With+all+of+the+excellent+BSA+camps+in+the+area+why+would+any+troop+want+to+have+a+local+campout+at+some+Interstate+RV+Park%3f++I+am+sure+some+of+my+scouts+would+love+to+stay+at+a+KOA+and+play+video+games+and+watch+videos+all+weekend+in+the+reservation+office+but+that+is+not+what+we+do+in+our+scout+troop%2e%0d%0a
