The+camp+is+great%2e+The+camp+consistently+gets+100%25+on+NCS+ratings%2c+and+is+top+notch%2e+In+years+past%2c+food+has+been+mediocre%2c+but+with+a+new+Food+Service+staff%2c+is+excellent%2e+The+emphasis+is+on+building+the+troops+own+program%2c+and+promoting+fun+for+Scouts+of+all+ages%2e+%0d%0a%0d%0aJoshua+Parrish+%0d%0a%0d%0a

++Our+Troop+is+from+upper+East+Tennessee+and+we+have+been+going+to+summer+camp+at+Camp+Grimes+for+the+past+3+years%2e++Our+Scouts+love+the+camp%2e++It+is+very+well+organized+and+the+Merit+Badge+Counselors+are+very+well+trained+in+their+fields%2e++And+the+food+is+great%21++If+your+Troop+is+looking+for+a+great+Scout+Camp%2c+this+is+it%2e%0d%0a

I+recently+attended+Eagle+Week+at+Camp+Grimes%2e++It+was+a+great+experience%2e++The+camp+provided+wonderful+provisional+leadership+for+the+group+of+40+scouts+participating%2e++They+provided+expert+guidance+and+our+temporary+troop+ran+smoothly%2e++As+a+result%2c+I+am+returning+to+my+troop+with+a+greater+sense+of+how+a+boy+led+troop+should+function%2e++I+was+concerned+about+the+possibility+of+a+merit+badge+%22give+away%22+but+I+am+am+happy+to+report+that+I+EARNED+3+eagle+required+merit+badges%2e++I+was+up+till+1%3a00am+three+mornings+working+on+requirements%21++I+reccommend+Grimes%27+Eagle+week+to+fellow+scouts%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aJacob+LeGrone%0d%0aStar+Scout+%28Life+after+my+upcoming+BOR+thanks+to+Grimes%29%0d%0a

Our+troop+was+there+during+week+4+and+had+a+great+time%2e++We+had+three+%22Trail+Blazers%22+that+learned+a+lot%2e++It+was+hot+and+kind+of+crowded+during+this+time%2e++The+staff+and+Mr+V+did+a+great+job%2c+and+TC+prepared+some+wonderful+meals%2e++Both+camp+fires+where+done+beautifully%2e++The+OA+tap+our+was+outstanding%2e++%0d%0aRenita+Keziah+Troop+46+Matthews%2c+NC%0d%0a

We+camped+there+last+year%2e++It+was+basically+a+merit+badge+mill%2e++Had+all+first+year+scouts%2c+several+earned+8+merit+badges%2c+one+received+completion+for+Camping+MB+and+had+a+total+of+2+days+camping+before+summer+camp%2e++Can+not+recommend%2e%0d%0a

2011+Camp+Grimes+was+just+a+perfect+experience+for+our+Troop+174+%28Charlotte%29%2e++The+facilities+were+clean%2c+badge+instruction+well+organized%2c+and+fun+things+to+do%2e++100%25+recommended%2e%0d%0a

2016+Camp+Grimes+%2d+Excellent+food%2c+you+never+left+hungry+and+the+kitchen+staff+gets+an+A%2b%2e++Was+not+a+Merit+Badge+Factory+and+they+had+a+great+ATV+Program%2c+according+to+our+scouts+that+had+the+best+experience%2e++The+guys+at+the+range+worked+with+the+boys+and+gave+great+instruction+for+the+shooting+merit+badges%2e+We+were+there+for+the+first+week+and+the+staff+did+an+excellent+job+to+make+sure+everything+was+taken+care+of%2e++The+Camp+Ranger+_+Chris+Williams+did+an+excellent+job%2e++Camp+staff+was+highly+energetic+and+kept+everyone+happy%2e++The+shelters+inn+the+campsites+were+huge+and+never+heard+of+anyone+at+camp+complaining+of+a+leaky+tent%2e++We+had+Scouts+and+adult+leaders+that+have+been+to+3%2d4+other+BSA+camps+in+NC+and+have+rated+this+one+%231+for+NC%2e++Our+troop+is+from+SC+so+definitely+not+biased+as+we+are+not+affiliated+with+any+councils+in+NC%2e%0d%0a
