Youth cost for regular program is $130/ week for troops in Blue Ridge Council, with a cost of $140/ week for out-of-council troops. High Adventure, Adventure to Eagle, and Foothills Trek costs $170 in council and $180 for out-of-council. Program is second-to-none, with a wide variety of merit badges offered. Staff mainly concits of members over 18, with extensive Scouting background. High adventure gives opportunity for rapelling, rafting, and canoeing. The camp runs for seven weeks. Facilities are excellent. Relatively new dining hall, brand new trading post/conference center, and realatively new Health Lodge.

This+year+has+been+the+second+year+in+a+row+that+our+troop+has+attended+Camp+Old+Indian%2e++We+will+be+attending+once+again+for+a+third+year%2c+and+there+was+very+little+decesion+involved+in+that%2e%0d%0a+++++Camp+Old+Indian+gave+us+a+large+array+of+activities+our+boys+can+choose+from%2e++The+Order+of+the+Arrow+is+very+active+in+the+camp%2c+and+it+is+good+to+see+their+lodge+setting+examples+for+the+boys%2e++The+program+director+in+2001+was+a+fellow+by+the+name+of+Dan%2c+who+was+an+excellent+person+to+spend+a+week+with%2e++He+always+made+sure+that+everything+was+going+well+with+the+troop%2c+and+so+did+our+camp+commisioners%2e++The+ranger%2c+the+famous+%22Buster%22+was+quite+a+character%2e++He+did+a+great+job+of+getting+our+gear+to+our+campsite%2c+the+%22Big+Rock%22+site%2e%0d%0a+++++Trust+me%2c+when+they+say+%22Big+Rock%22%2c+they+mean+it%21++The+site+was+beautiful%2c+about+a+2+minute+walk+from+the+center+of+camp%2e++Several+%0d%0aAdirondacks+%283+sided+cabins+with+4+bunks%2c+and+some+with+8%2d%2dwhich+were+VERY+nice%29+were+at+the+site%2e++We+had+a+latrine+within+100+feet%2c+and+running+water+at+the+site%2e++%0d%0a+++++The+Dining+Hall+is+new%2c+about+10+years+old%2c+and+is+very+modern%2e++The+seating+is+comfortable%2c+food+is+very+good%2c+and+anytime+in+the+day+it+is+cool+to+sit+in%2e++This+year+the+camp+addded+a+new+Trading+post+which+includes+an+air+conditioned+scoutmaster%27s+lounge+%28Really+NICE%29+and+a+nice+camp+store%2e++Troop+pictures+were+also+offered%2c+and+at+a+good+price%2e++It+was+a+great+way+to+remember+our+trip%2e++%0d%0a+++++The+bottom+line+everybody%2c+is+that+Camp+Old+Indian+is+a+great+place+for+a+scout+troop%2e++The+Blue+Ridge+Mountains+in+SC+are+a+great+place+for+the+camp%2c+and+I+think+that+if+your+troop+has+as+much+fun+as+ours%2c+you+will+go+back+for+years+to+come%2e%0d%0a%0d%0a

Just+got+back+from+Camp+Old+Indian+with+Troop+365+of+Central+Florida+Council%2c+over+all+the+camp+is+worth+going+back+to%2e+The+food+was+good+for+the+most+part%2c+portions+where+good%2e+Staff+was+awesome+they+were+very+accommodating%2c+and+polite%2e+Being+from+Florida+the+hike+to+and+from+camp%2c+up+and+down+the+mountains+got+to+me%2c+hey+it+the+mountains+and+I+am+a+Flatlander%2e+I+would+recommend+this+camp+to+any+other+Troop%2e+Drink+plenty+of+water+and+keep+track+of+chigger+bites%2e+Another+Scout+Master+found+out+that+our+bunks+had+gotten+infested+with+them%2c+a+half+of+a+bottle+of+nail+polish+from+Wal%2dMart%2c+and+the+camp+provided+some+spray+and+everything+was+good%2e+This+camp+is+on+our+Troop%92s+list+of+return+camps%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aKen+Sandberg+Troop+365+Palm+Bay%2c+FL%2e%0d%0a
