Scofield Frontier Base has the largest waterfront in the Council, and offers canoeing, fishing, sailing, swimming, and much, much more. Camp programs include Cub Day Camps to mountain bike treks, rock climbing, and everything in between. Instruction Areas at Scofield include nature, Scoutcraft, and handicraft areas, as well as archery, rifle and shotgun shooting. Our highlight feature is our water front area that includes canoeing, sailing, swimming, lifesaving, and other water oriented activities. Our Camp Programs are our best kept secret. You can take an overnight trip to Rock Island, or a day hike to Shepherd's Crook. More Adventurous Scouts will want to experience our mountain bike treks or rock climbing wall, or hike into the backlands of Scofield on the Scofield Wilderness Outpost. Living like the mountainmen of old, they'll travel to places like Starvation and Bear Creek for a trek of a lifetime.

I+had+the+opportunity+to+spend+three+days+at+the+camp+as+one+of+the+adult+leaders%2e+I+was+very+impressed+with+the+staff%2e+One+day+I+was+sitting+down+at+the+aquatic+center+observing+I+think+was+the+director+working+with+one+young+man+%2d+he+had+a+low+tolerance+to+the+cold+water%2e+She+not+only+showed+great+patiences+but+also+demonstrated+good+teaching+skills%2e+I+also+liked+the+fact+that+you+are+teaching+the+CIT%27s+leadership+skills+%2d+that+will+be+a+great+benifit+for+them+in+years+to+come%2e+The+three+young+woman+that+sang+at+the+Friday+night+program+are+talented+singers%2e+Once+again+thank+you+for+a+wonderfull+experience%2e++%0d%0a
