I+am+from+Troop+288+from+Plano%2cTx%2e++We+went+there+for+the+first+week+in+2001%2e++I+went+through+the+program+there+20+years+ago+and+had+the+best+time+ever+this+year%2e++They+have+a+new+water+system%2c+caterer%2c+and+staff%2e++We+wanted+for+nothing%2e++The+best+time+ever%2e++We+will+be+back+for+the+first+week+next+year%2e+%0d%0a

My+troop+just+returned+from+Camp+Constantin+for+the+second+year+in+a+row%2e++The+boys+love+the+camp%2e++They+have+an+excellent+acquatics+area+with+good+staff%2e++The+mess+hall+and+food+this+year+was+great+and+the+boys+always+had+sufficient+food%2e++We+did+not+have+problems+waiting+in+line+for+seconds%2c+etc%2e++THey+just+finished+installing+the+new+water+system+for+the+camp+and+that+was+wonderful%2e++The+latrines+are+as+good+as+I+have+seen+at+other+camps+and+they+do+a+good+job+providing+quality+A%2dFrame+tents+and+platforms%2c+with+covered+pavilion+areas+for+each+campsite%2e++There+are+a+number+of+campsites+with+lakefront+access+for+troops+who+want+to+set+up+their+own+swim+area%2e++The+OA+does+a+very+nice+job+with+their+call+out+ceremony+on+Friday+Night%2e++Lucky+for+us+the+weather+cooperated+and+made+it+very+comfortable%2e++The+camp+leadership+was+great%2e++I+thought+the+staff+for+merit+badges+could+have+used+a+little+help%2c+but+overall+my+boys+enjoyed+the+experience%2e++We+will+be+returning+to+Constantin+in+a+couple+of+years+without+question+after+we+have+visited+a+couple+other+camps%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aScott+McMurdie%0d%0aSM+Troop+2062+Wylie+TX%0d%0ascott%40mcmurdiegroup%2ecom%0d%0a

We+are+planning+a+family+campout+at+Constantin+and+would+like+access+to+photos+of+the+cabins+and+lakefront+to+show+parents+to+entice+their+participation%2e+Any+help+is+greatly+appreciated%21%21%0d%0aYIS%0d%0a

Contact+Circle+10+early%21+Our+scouts+wanted+to+attend+Constantin%2c+but+when+we+tried+to+contact+Circle+10+they+did+not+return+phone+calls%2c+voice+mail+or+e%2dmail%2e+Tried+for+a+month+with+no+response%21+By+the+time+our+scoutmaster+got+through%2c+they+were+full%2e+Very+unprofessional%2e++This+put+us+in+a+bind+to+try+and+get+in+another+camp%2e+BTW+the+cost+of+Consantine+is+now+%24220+per+scout%2e%0d%0aTroop+385%0d%0aEast+Texas+Area+council%0d%0a

The+Camp+is+OK%2c+but+we+had+a+number+of+difficulties%3a+1%29+registration+and+finance+were+problems%2e+We+had+to+keep+a+real+eye+on+all+of+the+Scout%27s+MB+and+the+payments+to+make+sure+all+posted+correctly%2e+2%29+Meal+portions+were+Really+small%2e+The+Cross+Country+and+LaCross+team+members+attending+camp+did+not+like+the+small+portions%2e+3%29+We+attended+the+first+week+of+Camp+and+already+the+laterines+were+a+mess+%28full%2c+parts+broken+or+missing%29%2e+%0d%0aThe+water+activities+were+great%2e+Most+had+a+great+time+in+the+water%2e+The+Water+Odessey+%28older+Scoust%29+started+rough%2c+but+ended+on+a+great+High%2e%0d%0aOverall%2c+a+mixed+bag%2e%0d%0a

Took+my+troop+here+for+Summer+camp%2e+Getting+our+merit+badges+setup+was+horrible+and+took+until+the+week+before+camp+to+finalize%2e+Multiple+emails+were+sent+and+phone+calls+were+made+with+no+responses+returned+or+we+were+being+told+we+have+to+contact+someone+else%2e+While+the+food+was+delicious%2c+the+portions+were+inconsistent%2e++The+new+dining+hall+is+great+despite+the+other+issues+that+I+am+sure+will+get+worked+out%2e++The+latrines+and+showers+for+the+campsites+were+better+than+most%2c+but+we+had+issues+with+getting+a+hot+shower%2e++The+merit+badge+classes+were+spot+on+but+we+had+issues+with+getting+the+report+straight+for+partials+and+completions%2e+Plenty+of+activities+during+freetime%2c+including+a+gaga+pit%2c+a+nuke%27em+court+and+a+large+outdoor+chess+set%2e+All+in+all+I+would+need+another+experience+before+discounting+this+otherwise+very+nice+Camp%2e+At+this+point+in+time+I+would+have+to+give+an+8%2e+If+our+scouts+did+not+have+such+a+great+time+the+score+would+be+lower%2e%0d%0a
