Hike/Bike/Ride a Horse on the entire Chesapeake and Ohio Canal towpath, following the Potomac River over 184 miles of fairly flat terrain. There are camping areas every 3 or 4 miles on the northern end, less frequently as you get closer to Wash D.C. Beautiful scenery and varied wildlife make this a great place to take experienced scouts as well as new scouts.
