Shabbona Lake State Park has 1550 acres of prairie, forest, rolling hills, and a 318 acre lake which is considered the Musky capital of Illinois. Several record breaking Muskie have been caught at Lake Shabbona. Camping includes 150 sites, plus a "camping cabins" can be rented that sleep 6 people. New this season is a Youth Camping Area that can accommodate 50 people. The park offers boat rental, boat ramp, picnic shelters, restaurant, camp store, hiking, hunting in season, and showers.
