Castle Rock has 1,995 acres along the Rock River containing miles of trails, picnic shelters, boat ramp, and a special "canoe-in only" campsite. Activities include hiking, fishing, and boating. A rock formation called Castle Rock sits along the Rock River and has a stairway leading to the top for a great view of the Rock river valley. One of the most beautiful spots in north central Illinois.
