Phillips Scout Reservation is made up of three camps: Camp Phillips: Boy Scout camp, campers stay in cabins with screen and canvas sides, corrigated fiberglass roofs, single beds with matress provided. Dining hall. All camps have lake access with boats provided. Cub World: Cub Scout camping, Fort Rice is the main part, a walled for with 4 guard towers. Campers stay in the towers or second floor of the "Great House." Tipis are also available. Camp is divided into Cub Resident and Webelos Resident camps. Offers a complete water front, shooting sports range, climbing wall and obstacle. High Adventure Camp doubles as Winter Camp. Just+got+back+from+Scout+Camp+at+the+Phillips+Scout+Reservation+in+northwestern%2c+WI%2e++I+had+a+boy+in+Boy+Scout+Camp+from+Sunday+%2d+Friday+and+my+youngest+at+Webelos+Resident+Camp+from+Wednesday+%2d+Saturday%2e++Was+a+fun+week%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aEveryone+seemed+to+have+a+good+time+at+camp%2c+even+though+it+was+a+bit+damp+from+time+to+time%2e%2e%2e%2eliquid+sunshine%21++Started+out+with+swim+check%2c+water+was+a+bit+cold+the+first+day%2e++I+stuck+with+our+first+year+campers+and+went+to+Tenderfoot+and+Second+Class+class+with+them%2e++The+staff+there+were+swamped+as+they+had+alot+more+than+expected+%28close+to+30+boys+at+times%29%2e++I+thought+that+was+unfortuneate+as+they+couldn%27t+cover+what+they+needed+to+as+well+as+I+thought+they+needed+to%2e++But+they+still+did+a+good+job%2e++I+will+find+out+tonight+for+sure%2c+but+I+think+our+first+year+boys+made+it+through+those+two+classes+and+they+took+Leatherwork+and+Swimming+Merit+badges+too%2c+I+know+they+finished+those%2e++At+lunch+time+on+Wednesday+I+picked+up+my+Webelos+son+so+stayed+on+the+other+side+of+camp+at+Cub+World+from+then+on%2c+but+visited+when+I+could%2c+even+doing+the+5+mile+hike+with+them%2e++A+good+camp%2c+we+had+scouts+get+merit+badges+from+Computer+to+Reptiles+and+Amphibians%2e++One+scout+and+the+scoutmaster+did+the+mile+swim%2e++We+got+perfect+scores+on+our+campsite+inspections%2e+One+scout+earned+his+lifeguarding%2c+one+of+our+scouts+earned+the+golden+archer+award+for+highest+archery+score%2e++My+son+was+thrilled+hitting+one+out+of+five+in+trap+shooting%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aOnly+weird+thing+was+having+a+boy+have+%28we+think%29+an+allergic+reaction+to+the+iron+in+the+water%2c+his+face+became+swollen%2c+and+had+some+splotches+on+his+body%2e++His+Mom+%28a+nurse%29+ended+up+taking+him+home+overnight%2c+he+went+to+a+doctor+who+gave+him+medicine%2c+told+him+to+drink+bottled+water+and+sent+him+back+the+next+day%2e++He+cleared+up+quickly+after+that%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aWell%2c+that+should+be+enough+of+a+report%2c%0d%0a%0d%0aJim+Lindberg%0d%0aCM+Pack+116%0d%0aASM+Troop+15%0d%0aChippewa+Falls%2c+WI%0d%0a

Our+troop+visited+L%2eE%2ePhillips+Scout+Reservation+during+the+last+week+of+June+2007%2e++This+was+our+best+experience+to+date+with+a+summer+camp%2e++The+setting+is+great%2c+the+food+was+good+%28even+to+scouts+from+Louisiana%29%2c+but+the+staff+is+what+makes+the+camp+great%2e++From+the+Camp+Director+all+the+way+down+to+the+CIT%27s%2c+this+is+a+class+act%2e++You+should+really+consider+this+camp+for+your+troop%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aTommy+Doran%2c+ASM+Troop+888%2c+Baton+Rouge%2c+Louisiana%0d%0a

We+went+to+this+Camp+Summer+of+2009+and+although+it+was+nice+it+was+kinda+boring+for+my+Boys%2e++I+think+it+is+more+geared+toward+the+younger+Cub+Scout+not+Boy+Scout%2e++The+Staff+was+very+nice+but+not+knowable+in+Merit+Badges%2e++We+did+not+finish+any+badges+because+they+did+not+have+supplies+for+enough+boys%2e++They+also+served+just+frozen+heat+up+dinners%2e++There+were+no+activities+in+the+evening+or+during+down+time%2e++If+you+are+looking+for+a+place+to+go+a+hang+out+and+do+your+own+troop+stuff+like+knots+and+whatnot+then+this+is+the+place%2e%0d%0a%0d%0a
