1,311 acres, 8 miles of trails, 60 public campsites, Silver Lake has boat rentals, Canoe Launch on DuPage river off Mack Rd, Orienteering course, Mt Hoy tubing hill in winter.

Scout Troop 466 Coal City Il. camped here in early November on a trip to Cantigny. The Scouts had a great time and facilities were good. The trails are awesome and there is a compass course on the perserve and though we did'nt use it we will plan an outing to use it. Tom Stott SM

I+am+a+wheaton+resident+that+has+enjoyed+Mt+Hoy+for+the+last+20years%2e++I+was+throughly+disappointed+that+with+very+little+imput+that+a+limited+use+archery+unit+was+put+up+on+the+only+side+of+my+hoy+that+can+be+used+for+running+and+walking+safely%2e++I%2c+along+with+several+families+from+in+and+around+wheaton+have+used+this+wonderful+hill+for+recreation+as+well+as+fitness+training%2e++My+three+children+were+very+unhappy+that+an+archery+center+was+erected+in+such+a+well+used+spot%2e++It+would+have+been+nice+to+put+it+in+a+spot+on+the+hill+that+didn%27t+make+it+near+impossible+for+runners+and+walkers+to+climb+the+hill+without+slidding+on+the+loose+gravel%2e++The+east+side+of+the+hill+is+a+better+spot+for+the+archery+center+since+they+don%27t+need+to+run%2fwalk+on+the+gravel%2e++My+children+attend+dist%2e200+and+we+use+this+hill+for+sports+training+and+it+is+so+sad+to+see+none+of+this+was+taken+into+consideration%2e+Last+year+I+met+people+from+all+over+dupage+county+and+I+am+sure+they+will+be+disappointed%2c+too%2e++Kate+Piraino%0d%0a

Pack+316%2c+Montgomery+%2d+We+took+our+Webelos+to+this+camp+site+and+were+very+happy%2e+Fire+wood+was+free+to+youth+group+campers%2e+Nice+size+fire+rings%2e+We+were+able+to+go+for+a+hike+and+play+sports+in+the+field%2e+Just+enough+for+a+weekend+camping+trip%2e%0d%0a
