A relatively small Scout Camp owned by the Inland Northwest Council, BSA
Nice lake, a nice change of pace, pretty good staff.
We+went+up+as+Webelos%2e+The+kids+had+A+great+time%21+%28Can%27t+wait+till+next+Year%29%2e+The+staff+was+great%2c+the+best+camp+food+I%27ve+ever+had%2e%0d%0a
Physically%2c+the+camp+is+smaller+than+any+other+I+have+been+to%2e++I+thought+initially+that+this+was+going+to+be+a+bad+thing%2c+but+discovered+there+are+definite+advantages+to+small%2e++While+there+is+less+privacy%2c+many+troops+from+a+wide+area+chose+this+camp+mainly+because+of+its+size%2e++It+has+most+everything+the+larger+camps+have%2c+but+the+boys+don%27t+waste+a+lot+of+time+going+between+activities%2d%2dthey+end+up+with+a+lot+more+time+actually+doing+things%2e%0d%0a
We+attended+this+camp+for+the+first+time+this+year+after+decades+at+another+camp%2e++For+a+small+camp%2c+it+is+great%2e++An+in%2dcamp+waterfront%2c+attentive+and+motivated+staff%2c+a+great+program+and+special+features%2c+and+wonderful+food+service+all+combined+for+an+outstanding+camp+experience+for+youth+and+adults%2e++Perhaps+the+only+drawback+would+be+that+some+program+opportunities+are+not+available%2c+so+Scouts+who+have+been+to+camp+more+than+three+years+may+have+a+hard+time+finding+advancement+opportunities%2e++For+young+Scouts+though%2c+it+is+great%21%0d%0a
OUCH+%2d+What+happened%3f++The+old+camp+director+had+been+very+strong%2c+communicating%2c+responding+to+the+few+problems+there+were%2e++A+new+camp+director+in+2007%2c+certainly+a+different+focus%2e++Food+quality+not+what+it+was%2e++Still+a+good+experience%2c+but+not+%22mountain+top%22+that+we+were+used+to%2e%0d%0a
This+camp+was+fun%2c+but+there+was+not+enought+staff+and+things+did+not+run+smoothly%2e++There+was+a+lot+of+confusion+about+what+was+happening+and+when%2e++Food+was+ok+not+the+best%2e+They+can+inprove%2e++The+merit+badges+were+cramed%2c+but+ok%2e%0d%0a
Does+anyone+know+the+water+temperature+of+the+lake+at+Camp+Grizzly%2c+ID%3f%0d%0a
Just+finished+a+week+with+21+scouts%2e++A+great+camp+tucked+away+in+the+mountains%21+The+camp+director+ran+the+camp+well+and+has+great+staff+%2d+courteous%2c+friendly%2c+high%2denergy+that+kept+the+boys+motivated%2e+He+communicated+often%2c+really+wanted+to+please%2c+and+asked+for+feedback+on+how+to+improve%2e++You+won%27t+be+disappointed%2e+%0d%0a
