Henderson Scout reservation is made up of over 600 acres or woodlands and a 70 acre lake managed and maintained to give your son the best possible Scouting experience. We have 12 campsites that are located near our program areas. Your son's home during his stay at camp will be a two-man tent, including a cot and a mattress. Your son's troop, under the leadership of its year-round Scoutmaster, can arrange the campsite to its personal liking. There is also a picnic table and dining fly for each patrol. Our permanent buildings include a modern dining hall and kitchen facility, a nature center, a craft lodge and camp store, a health lodge and Chapel. Henderson offers many opportunities for advancement in our program area: nature-conversation, aquatics, scout craft skills, field sports, Indian lore, personal fitness, and handicrafts. Each area is under the supervision of a full-time adult staff member. All of this and much more will be waiting for your son at Henderson this summer. All we need id for you to help get you son to camp this summer. Henderson is also available for your use in the off season for weekend camping. The facilities are located within a 30 minute drive of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Soccer Hall of Fame, Cooperstown NY, and Howe Caverns. We'll leave the light on for you and hope to see you soon.
