Our+Troop+attended+Camp+Schoellkopf+for+Summer+Camp+in+2002+as+an+out%2dof%2dcouncil+Troop%2e++This+is+one+of+the+best+Summer+Camps+that+our+Troop+has+ever+attended%2e+The+staff+is+excellent%2e++Staff+bent+over+backwards+to+accomodate+our+needs+and+they+were+very+active+with+the+scouts+throughout+the+entire+week%2e++They+have+a+great+program+and+an+excellent+high+adventure+program%2e++Meals+in+the+Dining+Tent+was+interesting++and+fun%2e+This+Summer+Camp+is+easily+an+A%2b+camp%2e%0d%0a

This+is+the+best+camp+for+scouts+in+the+northeast%2e++Winter+camping+there+is+a+ball%21%0d%0aPack+160+Alden%2c+NY%0d%0a

Schoellkopf+used+to+be+very+good%2c+but+then+starting+in+2005+they+got+a+new+camp+director%2c+and+since+then+the+camp+and+camp+staff+have+been+having+issue+after+issue+after+issue%2e++That+camp+director+only+lasted+two+years%2c+he+made+so+many+mistakes%2c+and+now+they+have+a+new+director%2c+a+smaller+staff%2c+and+smaller+program%2e++%0d%0a%0d%0aWe+truly+wish+the+camp+was+still+an+A%2b+camp%2c+but+the+quality+of+the+staff+has+diminished+greatly%2c+due+to+poor+leadership%2c+and+as+a+result%2c+our+scouts+did+not+have+as+much+fun+the+past+two+years+as+they+have+had+for+the+past+10%2e++Now%2c+honestly%2c+it%27s+more+of+a+C%2d+or+D%2b+camp%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aWe%27re+giving+schoellkopf+a+few+years+to+get+back+on+track+before+we%27re+taking+our+troop+back+there%2e%0d%0a

It+sounds+like+the+person+who+wrote+the+previous+comment+has+an+ax+to+grind%2e+Our+troop+has+been+attending+Schoellkopf+for+the+last+10+years+as+well%2e+2006+was+another+great+year%2e+The+staff+is+the+best+part+of+the+camp%2e+They+have+always+been+accomodating%2c+enthusiastic%2c+and+knowlegeable%2e+There+are+many+exciting+changes+in+store+for+this+year+that+are+sure+to+improve+the+program+even+more%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aTroop+539%0d%0aKenmore%2c+NY%0d%0a

Try+Haliburton+scout+reserve+for+summer+camp+in+canada%2c+very+nice+high+adventure+camp%2e++One+of+the+largest+camps+in+the+world%0d%0a

Oregon+has+the+best+scout+camps+in+America%2e%0d%0a%0d%0a%0d%0aJust+sayin%2e%0d%0a

Food+was+horrible+and+the+program+stunk+because+they+offered+3+merit+badges+for+%24290%2e++Patrols+in+the+afternoon+was+met+with+luke+warm+feelings%2c+especially+since+they+had+to+wait+almost+an+hour+in+blazing+heat+to+ride+the+mountain+bikes%2e++Overall%2c+each+boy+came+with+2%2d3+merit+badges%2c+which+made+the+camp+very+unproductive%2e++%0d%0a
