Great lodge, I have been there only once from Camp Pioneer, Rich Mt. hike. 18 miles later I was having the buffet, great country!

Queen Wilhelmina S.P. is the eastern terminus of a great 50+ mile backpacking trip on the Ouachita Trail. We start at Talihena State Park in Oklahoma at the western end. This is rugged mountainous terrain that is a good preparation for Philmont.
