Northwest Georgia Council campground. I realize this is a scout owned camp and is where summer camp takes place, but a lot of troop camping takes place here, also. They have a lot to offer.

Our+troop+actually+enjoyed+this+camp+more+than+Rainey+Mountain%2c+even+though+that+camp+gets+all+of+the+hype+in+Central+Florida+Council%2e++We+found+Sindey+Dew+very+appealing+and+worth+the+drive%2e++It+was+so+much+cooler+and+less+humid+than+Florida%2e%0d%0a

I+was+browsing+this+site+and+wanted+to+add+a+comment+about+Sydney+Dew%2e+We+camped+there+summer+of+2006+and+I+have+nothing+but+praise+for+the+site+and+the+Staff%2e++Rob+Stone+runs+a+tight+ship+and+the+whole+camp+philosophy+is%3a+Give+you+the+best+camp+experience+they+can%2e+If+there%27s+a+problem+it+gets+rapid+attention%2e+We+have+a+policy+of+trying+a+new+camp+each+year+but+I+would+go+back+to+CSD+in+a+heartbeat%2e+Its+big+enough+to+offer+what+you+want%2c+but+small+enough+to+retain+the+more+personal+flavor+that+you+don%27t+get+at+the+bigger+camps%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aMax+Coles%2c+SM+Troop+486%2c+Richmond+Hill+GA%0d%0a

My+son+just+finished+a+week+of+Boy+Scout+camp+at+Camp+Sidney+Dew%2c+Armuchee%2c+GA%2e+I+stayed+all+but+Wednesday+night%3b+I+had+to+come+home+for+some+work+duties%2e%0d%0a%0d%0a+He+received+4+merit+badges+and+earned+the+rank+of+Tenderfoot%2e+I%27m+very+proud+of+him+and+all+of+the+young+men+that+completed+the+week%2e+Like+the+scoutmaster+told+me%2c+%22Boy+Scouts+is+a+bait+and+switch%2e+We+lure+them+in+with+the+sense+of+adventure+and+they+end+up+learning+while+having+fun%2e%22%0d%0a%0d%0a+I+wasn%27t+in+scouts+as+a+youth%2e+My+son+started+in+January+and+it+has+been+the+best+thing+we+have+done+for+him+yet%2e+%0d%0a
