The Koshare Indian Dancers are a group of Scouts in southeast Colorado who help keep the traditional dances of the praries. The Kiva is a museum, dance stage, and meeting hall for the Scouts who combine authentic American Indian dance with the Boy Scouting program. The Koshare dancers have been featured in Scouting and Boys Life magazine. The Kiva is a great place to stop and visit on the way to Philmont, or as a destination unto itself. Camping is available on the museum grounds, or you can rent lodging in the hostel. See the website for more information
