Camp Oyo makes its home on 52 acres near the Shawnee State Forest in Scioto County, 10 miles west of Portsmouth, Ohio off State route 125. The majority of use of this camp is for weekend camping by local Scouting units. The camp maintains a dining hall, caretaker's residence, 6 lodges, 2 maintenance buildings, 2 cabins, handicraft center, cook's cabin and shower house. Camp Oyo also has a waterfront area for watersports as well as a pool. Access to Shawnee State Forest and its many buildings make Camp Oyo an excellent facility for use with any program.

Simon Kenton Council does now offer a summer camp program at Camp Oyo for a limited number of weeks as well as their longer season programs at Falling Rock and Chief Logan.
