Good park, great staff. Huge scout area. Lots of things to do for scouts nearby and in the park. Recommended.
We+visited+this+camp+in+the+summer+of+2007%2e+The+group+camping+areas+were+well+manicured%2e+One+of+the+group+sites+required+crossing+the+gravel+road+to+go+to+the+restroom%2e+Keep+this+in+mind+when+reserving%2e+The+fire+pit+had+a+huge+grill+for+outdoor+cooking%2e+%28There+are+some+firewood+restrictions%29%2e%0d%0aIt+is+very+quiet+and+has+a+beautiful+night+sky+for+being+so+close+to+the+Kansas+City+metro+area%2e+The+only+shortcoming+that+I+saw+was+minor%2e+The+lake+for+fishing+and+swimming+was+over+a+mile+from+the+campsite%2e%0d%0a
