This+summer+will+be+my+sixth+summer+working+at%0d%0a+Northwoods+on+staff%2c+and+my+13th+summer+in+%0d%0aattendance+of+at+least+one+week+and+frequantly%0d%0a+multiple+times+a+year%2e++I+have+been+to+many+%0d%0aother+camps+in+michigan%2c+and+as+each+of+them+has%0d%0a+many+good+qualities%2c+none+has+held+as+magical+a%0d%0a+place+in+my+heart+as+northwoods%2e++it+is+a%0d%0a+moderatly+sized+camp+with+a+large+private+lake%2e%0d%0a++The+distance+between+program+areas+is+not+too%0d%0a+great%2c+but+enough+to+provide+the+scouts+with+a+%0d%0alittle+physical+fitness%2e++The+program+itself+is+%0d%0aadministered+well%2e++The+facilities+are+kept+in+%0d%0aexcellent+order+and+new+facilities+are+added+%0d%0aevery+year%2e++We+have+just+opened+our+new+dining%0d%0a+facility+with+attached+adult+shower+and+laundry+%0d%0asevices%2e++New+Health+lodge+and+Public+male+and+%0d%0afemale+restrooms+are+also+attached%2e++%0d%0aCampsites+area+developed+and+large+enough+to+%0d%0aaccomidate+most+troops%2e++Sites+include+platformed%0d%0a+tents%2c+restrooms%2c+and+water%2e++Pioneering%0d%0a+projects+are+encouraged%2e%0d%0aI+have+never+meet+a+staff+that+develops+a%0d%0a+comradery+like+Northwoods%2c+most+of+us+are+there%2c%0d%0a+not+for+the+money+but+for+the+scouts%2c+the+camp%2c%0d%0a+and+the+organization%2e++We+feel+we+are+direct+%0d%0areflections+of+what+Boy+Scouts+is+all+about%2e++We%0d%0a+expect+nothing+of+the+scouts+that+we+do+not+%0d%0aexpect+of+ourselfs+and+teach+the+scouting+ideals%0d%0a+above+all+else%2e+%0d%0aNorthwoods+is+a+special+place+to+many%2e++It+is+an%0d%0a+outdoor+school%2c+a+gathering+of+friends%2c+and+to%0d%0a+me%2c+a+second+home%2e++Because+home+IS+where+the+%0d%0aheart+is%2e%0d%0a
