My+name+is+Dan+Thompson%2c+I+am+an+ASM+of+Troop+54%2e+This+past+summer+we+were+late+in+starting+planning+for+our+summer+camp%2e+I+looked+all+over+the+web+to+find+some+place+different+for+summer+camp%2e+The+pictures+I+found+on+their+web+site+painted+the+story+book+summer+camp+and+we+booked+the+last+session%2e+After+a+very+long+%26+hot+drive+to+camp+we+were+pleasantly+greeted+and+shown+to+our+site%2e+The+boys+settled+right+in+and+began+their+activities+the+next+day%2e+The+smiles+I+saw+on+our+boys+and+the+excellent+staff+made+this+out+of+Council+trip+outstanding+for+us%2e+From+our+newest+recruit+to+the+seasoned+scouts+that+came+with+us%2c+not+one+of+us+would+hesitate+to+return%2e+Their+web+site+was+excellent+and+provided+me+with+the+most+information+of+all+other+camps+I+checked%2e+They+do+an+outstanding+job%2e%0d%0a
++++Wooded+hill+sides%2e++A+475+acre+lake%2c+big+enough+for+doing+the+water+skiing+merit+badge%2e++Deer+and+other+wildlife%2e++Excellent+swimming+area+in+the+lake%2c+along+with+other+water+activities%2e++Cliffs+for+rock+climbing%2e++The+fishing+is+excellent+with+lots+of+bass%2c+crappie%2c+and+other+species%2e%0d%0a+++++This+is+Blackjack+Oak+Territory%2e+A+rugged%2c+rocky%2c+wooded+area%2c+that+will+remind+you+of+the+Ozarks%2e++Check+out+the+web+site+at+quivira%2eorg%2c+and+then+make+your+plans+to+come+to+QSR%2e%0d%0a++++I%27ve+been+to+a+number+of+scout+camps%2c+but+this+is+my+favorite%2e++I+think+this+camp+has+the+largest+lake+owned+by+any+scout+council%2c+I+do+know+that+it+is+the+largest+privately+owned+lake+in+Kansas%2e%0d%0a
i+am+spencer+of+troop+606++++++++++++it+was+rainy+last+year+but+it+was+fun+and+exiting%21+the+food+was+great+and+tasty%2e+swimming+was+spectacular%21%0d%0a
Our+troop+attended+Quivira+Scout+Ranch+in+July+2012+and+had+a+great+time%21++We+attended+during+the+week+of+July+4th+and+did+not+experience+any+overcrowding%2e++Our+scouts+got+a+ton+of+merit+badges+completed+due+to+the+small+class+sizes%2e++The+lake+is+the+best+part+of+this+camp%2e++We+enjoyed+the+outbound+adventure+when+we+were+encouraged+to+go+on+a+canoe+trip+and+explore+the+outer+portions+of+the+lake%2e++The+air+conditioned+dining+hall+is+great+to+get+out+of+the+intense+summer+hear%2e++The+food+was+pretty+good+and+plentiful%2e++Staff+was+the+best+I+have+seen+at+QSR+in+my+four+visits%2e++%0d%0a%0d%0aMike+Longshaw%0d%0aTroop+219%0d%0aBenton%2c+KS%0d%0a
