Clark+Creek+Organization+Camp%2c+located+12+miles+northeast+of+Lowell%2c+Oregon%2c+is+a+historic+group+campground+constructed+during+the+1930s+by+the+efforts+of+the+Civilian+Conservation+Corps+in+coordination+with+the+U%2eS%2e+Forest+Service%2e+Organization+camps+were+created+for+the+purpose+of+hosting+group+recreational+activities+on+public+lands%2e+Historically%2c+groups+that+routinely+used+organization+camps+were+the+Boy+Scouts+of+America+and+local+church+groups%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aThe+camp+features+five+bunkhouses+each+with+eight+platform+sleeping+bunks%2c+plus+a+large+field+to+pitch+tents%2c+play+baseball%2c+volleyball+or+throw+a+frisbee%2e+There+is+also+an+amphitheater%2c+cooking%2fdining+shelter%2c+and+chapel%2e+The+day%2duse+area+and+sleeping+shelters+are+separated+by+Clark+Creek%2e+Access+is+over+a+foot+bridge%2e+The+site+accommodates+up+to+80+overnight+guests+but+up+to+125+guests+can+make+use+of+the+group+area+during+the+day+time%2e+Clark+Creek+is+extremely+popular+for+group+events+and+functions%2c+so+plan+ahead+when+making+reservations%2e%0d%0a%0d%0aSeveral+hiking+and+biking+trails%2c+swimming+areas+and+open+fields+offer+fun+opportunities+for+large+groups+with+varied+interests%2e+Fall+Creek+is+located+across+Forest+Road+18%2c+and+Clark+Creek+runs+adjacent+to+the+sleeping+area%2e%0d%0a
