Owl+Brook+is+managed+by+Fish+and+Game%27s+Hunter+Education+Program%2e+Located+on+500+forested+acres+of+land+at+387+Perch+Pond+Road+in+Holderness%2c+N%2eH%2e%2c+the+center+is+the+first+facility+of+its+kind+in+the+state%2e+It+was+made+possible+through+a+grant+from+the+Federal+Aid+in+Wildlife+Restoration+Act+%28managed+by+the+U%2eS%2e+Fish+%26+Wildlife+Service%29%2c+as+well+as+many+private+donations%2e+%0d%0a%0d%0aThe+center+hosts+workshops%2c+group+programs+and+special+events+conducted+by+Fish+and+Game+staff%2c+hunter+education+and+center+volunteers%2c+often+in+partnership+ith+organizations+such+as+the+N%2eH%2e+Trappers+Association+and+the+National+Wild+Turkey+Federation%2e+These+activities+allow+individuals+and+families+to+start+the+lifelong+journey+of+becoming+safe+and+responsible+hunters+and+trappers%2e+As+much+as+possible%2c+the+%22hands%2don%22+and+%22learn+by+participation%22+approach+is+used+at+Owl+Brook%2e%0d%0a%0d%0a
